Crazy Holidays

Ok, so my life is like a whirlwind! And I am constantly amazed at people who update their blog religiously, yes that means you Lara and Laura! I always think, I need to tell about what Allegra said that was silly, or how Gianluca lost his first tooth... by the way, Gianluca lost his first tooth right after Thanksgiving, and I literally had to wrestle him down to pull it from his mouth. It was hanging by a thread, just dangling there, but he was afraid it would hurt. Then it just popped out and he was so proud. He has shown everyone his toothless grin. He lost his second bottom tooth, yet again wrestling me, but this time it was for fun. He loves getting money from the tooth fairy. I can tell braces will be in our future do to the fact that they are growing in crooked! He's still a handsome wild man!

Christmas was very laid back and a lot of fun. Joel got to stay home for a month because his rig got shut down. It was so nice just hanging out! I really enjoy him being around, although it seems my house is always messier with him there... crazy how that happens.Christmas Eve we went to my sister Darci's house and had fun with all of their guests. The kids were so excited to open presents and wait for Santa. We looked online to see where Santa was, and when we saw he was getting close to our house we maid a bee line home. Joel and I watched "A White Christmas" while wrapping presents. It's such a classic. Gotta love it... and of course "The Christmas Story". I love that show! The kids were so happy Christmas morning and I stayed in my pajamas until 5 that day. So relaxing and fun! We went up to Joel's cousins party and then to Idaho on Christmas night and had a lot of fun with my family hanging out and playing cards. New Years we spent with Joel's cousins Amy and Esteban and had a shrimp fry and other yummy treats. It was just a wonderful holiday season. Now we are back to the same old grind.
