Happy Birthday Fuba!

I just wanted to give a birthday shout out to my sister Kim (who got nicknamed Fuba, but I can't remember why...) So here it goes...

Things I LOVE about Kim:

1) She is a blast!!! Always fun to be around.
2) She is comfortable with herself. She's a no-BS type of gal, what you see is what you get, you either love me or hate me and she is totally fine with that. I really LOVE that about you!
3) She is real, there is no fakeness going on here.
4) She has an amazing cackle! A laugh that is extremely contagious.
5) And she is able to laugh about life and herself. She doesn't take herself too seriously.
6) She has firey streak and yet a sensitive side too.
7) She is tough enough to handle 5 kids!!!! I can barely handle two.
8) She is strong through her trials and very supportive and loyal to her family.
9) She gives great advice.
10) She is fun to have girl's outings with.
11) I've always looked up to her ever since I was a little girl. I've always thought she was incredibly beautiful and popular. I wanted to be like her when I grew up.
12) I'm not sure I love this about her, but definitely feel shafted that her and Darci got the good boobs and I got jack!!!
13) Fun-loving mom.
14) Great cook! Yummy bread pudding!!!
15) Always there to help out and not afraid to get in and work.
16) Very kind and sensitive to the elderly. It really touched me how affected she was to see our grandma who is very ill. She has a real soft side to her.
17) And last but not least... AMAZING HAIR!!!

Well Kim, I love you. I wish we were closer. You have always been someone I really looked up to. I loved it when you got me ready for proms and even my wedding day. I loved taking that medical terminology class with you. You are a wonderful person and I love you and your amazing family!!! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Kim. And she does have amazing hair. I can't believe how big her kids are. I totally remember when she brought Sid home and introduced him to the family. Wonder why I was there?
Oh and do you remember how she pulled that prank on your dad? She called him up and told him she prego? Great sense of humor. LOL.

Thanks Sidney you are awesome! That just made my day! Apparently I am email and blogger challenged so I really hope this works! I tried to leave a note on Darci's bday but it didn't work. I am sooo lucky to have such awesome sisters - You and Darci are so special to me (can't forget Ryan too) - I can't wait for this summer when we can get together! Boating in Powell for anyone who can get here! Give Gooky a big hug and kiss from me for his belated birthday (I was a little distracted in Hawaii!!HEE-HEE)I can't believe the three monkeys are almost 4. Keep up the great blog, you put me to shame, and I will try to be better about checking it out! Loveyouthemost, Kim

HEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I finally mastered this dang thang! I didn't think I would ever be able to leave a note. Can you believe it?
Anyway, nice blog Sid. It isn't that I wasn't replying, it was that I couldn't because I am kind of a technopeasant at this stuff.
Happy B.day to Kim. Mom and I drove past the theatre tonight and we remembered that it was the place that Sid proposed to you! Happy memories for us...I hope for you too. Too late to turn back now.
We have a great family and it is because we all like each other and maybe even some love in there somewhere too.
Mom and I are off to Hawaii on Monday...so (HEE-HEE) back at ya Kim. Wanna go back with us???
Love ya,
Dad

Darci here: Uncle Doug named Kimmie FUBA. Her official name is Unt' my Fuba!!??? Doug was just a rapper dude in the 70's. Well everything that you wrote about Kim is so true. We love you Kim and I am so thankful that you are my sister. such a great strength to me! We do have fun when we hang out.
Love you and happy birhtday!

This is my first time participating in a blog, be gentle with me. I'm probaly going to wind up being stalked across the internet by some sexual deviant. Maybe the dirty biker momas boy sids been flirting with at the gorcery store.
Happy B-day Kim. I hope you had a great one. I'm sure Syd gave you what you wanted, or at least what he wanted you to want. We all love you and your family, can't wait to come see you this sommer, finally. I would never want to argue with Darci (look what its done to Hubie). But it was my understanding from a highly reliable source (dad) that it came from Kim being unable to speak anything coherently except for fuba until about the age of 10. Just wandering around the house and school yard mumbling fubafubafubafubafuba..... You get the picture. Now, Darci is the oldest sibling and would probably be able to recall what happened, at least for a few more years before the demensa sets in. Her story could be true, who's to say either one sounds feasible to me.
I think I'll sign off now. Sid this is a cool thing you are doing here, keep it up. I will try to participate a little more. Love you all.
P.S. Where the hell is the spell check on this thing. As you can see I need it.

Ryan you are too funny! I'm glad all of you figured it out! I am excited to see you guys this summer! And I'm glad that you have come to appreciate me as an "awesome sister", as you did not as we were growing up. Need I remind you of the big bird chair incident!!!

Love you guys!

Hey! We live outside of Huntsville, so not too far away! I do the majority of my shopping in Conroe/The Woodlands...and my baby was born at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands so I'm pretty familiar with your area. What a small world!! I stay at home, and work part time out of my house. Do you stay at home?

That is great Jenn! We'll have to have you over for dinner soon. I'll have to get your e-mail or number so we can get in touch!

Happy birthday to Kim!! I wanted to be just like her too when I was young... remember how we used to go into her room?? I think we even had a sleepover in there once... I loved her clothes and hair and thought she was the coolest! Ok, so I want your family to leave comments on my blog! Will you tell them to?? I miss them and wish we all lived closer... our parents did it right to raise us all together... cousins need to grow up together!! Love you, Siddy. Miss you all! PS i love ryan's comment, he's always been so witty!
